What did I do well in the Project?

Well in the project I think I did pretty well. I mean by I got a lot of graphics in each slide and I put a whole lot of effort to it. Plus I got a lot of information in each slide like the statistical information it had a lot of information about the city and the population. I got a lot of good questions and comments when I finished showing the presentation. Then when I checked the presentation score I got an A+ and I believed that I really did it. I achieved my goal in this project. I managed to get an A+. Plus my family was very happy.

What can I improve for the future presentations?

What can I improve in my presentations in the future is that I can add more slides. Also I can put in more ideas to make it very interesting and I can make my grade better. I can put much more effort. I need to put in more graphics and picture to state my information. I can find for website with the most important and interesting information I can find. Also I can improve finding more history information for the history of the main idea.

What is analysis of my performance?

What is the analysis in my performance is that I confident and loud. Plus sometimes I look at the screen of the presentation and I always look at the audience. But the problems were I talk really fast and I always get a little too rushy so I can get over it faster. But I think I did really great at my performance but I can do better then that. But I was very confident but I was a little nervous but I can try to improve on my confidence and feelings.

My learning profiles.

My learning profile is a profile A. I learn best when I get the exact detail of my work after I did an analysis, verbalization and writing. I also learn best when I am able to learn details and information with my eyes and ears even, when I am stressed out. Plus I learn best when I get encouraged I am able to synthesize and understand information from the whole perspective and I can explore ambiguity.

I need to improve in my language skills because it is very important for my learning. I need to control my stress because every time I get stressed out I have difficulty see the big problem or the main thing. I need to improve on controlling my stress because every time I get stress, my logic hemisphere (left side of the brain) is having difficulty accessing the gestalt hemisphere.

The strategies that would help me in my learning is that I need to improve in my comprehension and grammar for my language skills. The strategies that would help me in my learning is that I need to control my stress when listening to the big picture or the main subject, in order for me to do that I must calm down and get a drink of water. The strategies that would help me in my learning is that I need to improve my stress when my logic hemisphere is accessing the gestalt hemisphere, in order for me to do that I need to get a little rest or talk to my friends.

I would like my teachers to know this about me that I sometimes I can get a little worse in my English and a little good at it.

New years blog post.

 Hi my name is John and in this new year I have 2 resolutions. My first one is to get a good comprehension because my comprehension is kind of not so good and I need to practice a lot. My last resolution is to improve on my science because in the last trimester I got a D+ on my grades and I need to improve a lot.

Also in this new year I have 2 goals. My first goal is to get A+, A or A-, because in my report card in last trimester there was a few A's and if I improve to get more A's I have no problem for the next trimester. My last goal is to make my parents proud because every time I did a good job in the school I get what I want.

In the holidays I went to Arizona and it was very exciting. Plus the most exciting thing I did in the holiday I got a lot of christmas presents and all of my relatives came. Also I bought games and I liked them and I keep on playing them every time/

I have one special cool talent that even no one can do and it is really hard for them. My special talent is that I can crack my Jaw. I sounds like the this CRRKCRRK. But in conclusion maybe I will have the best new year ever.

How well I work with partners in Literature circles

In class we were assigned partners in our literature circles on literature circles 3. It was great to have partners because the benefits of it could be: editing others work for improvement, giving each other feedback on their work. When I finished working my literature circle with my partner I got a good grade.

The challenges my partner and I went through was big problem for us and we had to go through it to finish our work. The big problem we went through were disagreeing because my partner and I had very big problems on our work and we had to fix it. There was some sentences my partner and I wanted to change and there were no sentences we needed to change.

In the novel there was some understandings of the story my partner and I noticed. In the story there was some understandings of what is going to happen next. There was about the fishing spear when Brian wanted to a fish and eat it and it is going to continue on the next chapter so my partner and I knew Brian might be able to catch a fish or not.

Literature circle reflection.

1. How your groups discussion helped you better understand the novel. Write about of some of the key ideas from the novel that your group discussed and how these were important to the plot of the story.

What key ideas my group and I use is this:

- Describing the paragraph and tell exactly about it so we can get the idea and picture, so give him some credit.

-We use ideas from the novel so we can get a recap what happened or what he or she missed.

- Sharing ideas because if we share what we are thinking of then we might know or predict what will happen next.

2. Describe some of the connections that you made during your discussion.
The connection I had is our language speaking I mean like "I agree or I disagree.". I always keep on saying it in my old group but it really helped us a lot in our discussions so we can get feedback and credit.

3. What predictions do you have for the rest of the novel.

Well what I predict in the book "Hatchet" Brian will face dangerous animals like a bear or a wolf. Plus wolves and Bears. But also when Brian kills the bears or the wolf he will gain new courage and find new ways to survive.

My favorite event I have went through in my field trip.

In the field trip my favorite event I went through was planting mangrove saplings. When it was morning we had a powerpoint presentation by the guides. In the presentation we saw what animals are going to be there, there will be birds, mudskippers, fiddler crabs and snakes. When we finished watching the presentation we went back to our hostels we were getting ready to go to the mud garden, we brang our water bottles, hats and clothed we don't use normally, sock and boots because the mud is like quick sand. When we are arriving to the garden it was a very long walk we finnaly found a bridge and walked to the other side and then we saw a heron it was white and black. Later we moved up we were getting very tired then when we found a tower we made it to the mud garden. When we took a drink of water and saw the garden it was huge we saw a lot of mud skippers and crabs. Then when we wore our boots we were listening to a guide already at the mud and showing us a demonstration on how to plant a mangrove sapling we first get a large stick and strike it down at the mud and circle it at the mud, and we must do it for 3 times, next we get a mangrove sappling and take of the black plastic at the roots and last we put the sapling in the hole we made, and grab a stick and put it right beside the stem and tie it up. When we were planting out mangrove saplings it was very disgusting I mean the mud it was so icky and gooish and I trip over and sat down on it AAAWWW but it was certainly fun. When I took a rest I was sinking down it took over my foot and my knew but I grabon a tree trunk and pulled my self off. When I finish planting the sapling I went back to the hostel to get hosed off by my science and math teacher Mr. Sheflin. When I was hosed of I changed my clothes and I felt like new again. So this was on great event I have expirenced in the field trip.
